About InTrace

InTrace is a caring companion for people living with type 2 diabetes. Our mission: to make medical information clear, reliable and human, so everyone can live better with the condition, day to day.

InTrace was born from a personal story. My daughter, who lives with reduced mobility, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2017. A health journalist for twelve years, I had the words to make sense of medical guidelines.

Yet I ran into a simple problem: between the jargon of institutional websites and forums where everyone shares an opinion, there was no place that was clear, reliable and warm to learn how to live well with type 2 diabetes.

So I created InTrace to fill that gap. The idea is simple: explain without betraying medical rigour, inform without frightening, and support with kindness. The project quickly became more than a blog. It is also a space for exchange and a community, where everyone can take back an active role in their health and well-being.

Our approach

Every article draws on trusted medical sources and is signed by a member of our editorial team. Our content is reviewed for reliability and updated regularly. InTrace provides general, educational information: it does not replace your doctor's advice.
